Our Team

Mastering | Mike Monseur

With two decades in the industry, Mike has mastered over two thousand projects across multiple genres, including 3 Grammy nominated albums, and several Billboard charting songs.

Starting in 2004 as an assistant at Airshow Mastering, followed by 8 years working along-side Bob Dawson and Jim Robeson as the mastering engineer for Washington D.C.’s famed Bias Studios, Mike made the move to Nashville in 2018. Focused on evolving music technology, and expanding into the world of immersive audio, he partnered with Webster Tileston in 2020 to build Axis Audio - one of Nashville’s first Dolby Atmos enabled music studios.

Mike masters projects for major labels like Universal, Warner Music, Capitol CMG, Curb, Free Dirt, and Smithsonian Folkways, as well as hundreds of independent artist across the globe, and in all formats - Stereo, Atmos, Analog, Digital, Vinyl, CD, and Streaming.

Mixing | Webster Tileston

A graduate of Belmont University’s renowned audio program, Webster has been a member of the Nashville music community for over a decade. An equally in-demand tracking and mix engineer, Webster thrives when lending his expertise to the creative process of a song - whether that is tracking in some of Nashville’s premier recording studios or mixing at Axis Audio.

Fueled by his fascination of cutting edge technology and workflows, he began working in immersive formats at the beginning of 2020. This led to his work on Diplo’s Grammy Nominated self-titled album as well as EDM artist Dillon Francis, country artists Maren Morris and Little Big Town, and R&B artist Emily King among others!

A veteran at tracking and mixing in stereo, Dolby Atmos for Apple Spatial Audio, and Sony 360 Reality Audio, he strives to create moving and memorable experiences for listeners regardless of the playback format.
